Liverpool have "concrete" interest in a summer move for Wolves ace Pedro Neto but have reservations over one area, sources have told Football Insider.

It is believed that the 23-year-old wide attacker, who has been in electrifying form this season, is high on the Merseyside club's list of potential long-term replacements for Mohamed Salah.

However, it is believed that Liverpool's recruit team are concerned about Neto's poor availability record and his history of injuries.

Wolves could be forced to sell the forward, with Football Insider revealing (9 February) that he may have to depart to fund their own summer business and amid their Profit and Sustainability concerns.

Liverpool are eyeing a move for Wolves star Pedro Neto

It is believed that Wolves could have to cash in on Neto by June 30th, which has opened the door for him to secure a mega-money move to a top Premier League outfit.

The versatile attacker has had a prolific campaign with Wolves, having bagged three goals and 11 assists across 22 games in all competitions. Nine of those assists have come from just 18 Premier League fixtures.

However, he was unavailable to Gary O'Neil for an eight-game stretch in the league with a hamstring injury between early November and late December.

Since the start of the 2020-21 season, Neto has missed 88 games for club and country through injury.

Liverpool remain top of the league after their late 1-0 win against Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon (2 March).

They are next in action against Sparta Praha in their Europa League last-16 clash on Thursday evening (7 March).
