Alberto Moreno has revealed he has returned to training after missing Liverpool's last two games because of injury.

The left-back posted on update on his Snapchat account on Tuesday with a picture in which he appeared to be in training gear alongside the message, 'Ready for training'.

Moreno is soaking up the sun with a depleted Liverpool squad at a warm weather training camp in Tenerife.

The non-international and injured players flew out to the largest of Spain's Canary Islands on Monday and will stay at their luxury base until Friday.

Moreno, 23, picked up a hamstring problem in the build up to Liverpool's Europa League tie with Manchester United last week.

The Spaniard was forced out the United clash, which the Merseysiders drew 1-1, and was missing again from the match-day squad as they lost 3-2 to Southampton on Sunday.

Moreno's updates hinted that he is hopeful of being fit for Liverpool's next matches, against Tottenham in the Premier League on Saturday of next week followed by the Europa League quarter-final first leg clash against Borussia Dortmund.

The Merseysiders' dramatic 3-2 defeat to Southampton has put a real dent in any Champions League hopes after a run of three league wins on the bounce.

In other Liverpool injury news, Roberto Firmino has delivered an update on his recovery from a hamstring injury.
