Football Insider rates the Liverpool players during their 3-0 win over relegated Middlesbrough in the Premier League on Sunday.

Simon Mignolet 6 - Rarely tested. Little surprise given Middlesbrough's continued failings in the final third.

James Milner 6 - Faced few real challenges defensively, but still not the answer at left-back.

Nathaniel Clyne 5 - Blasted a glorious chance wide. Made a few bombing runs down the right-hand side but with little effect.

Dejan Lovren 5 - Could be considered luck to get away with a clumsy challenge on Bamford. Given the importance of keeping a clean-sheet, the 27-year-old defender looked a liability.

Joel Matip 6 - Best contribution of the day was perhaps obscuring the view of the referee for the Middlesbrough penalty call.

Emre Can 6 - A decent midfield display. Distribution of the ball, positioning and work ethic were excellent.

Georginio Wijnaldum 7 - Lifted the pressure with thunderous strike to give Liverpool the lead. Looking stronger and stronger each week.

Adam Lallana 6 - Had a poor game until adding a third goal for Liverpool.

Philippe Coutinho 7 - Scored a fantastic free-kick. Continued to test goalkeeper Brad Guzan with a number of long-range efforts.

Roberto Firmino 7 - A lovely pass round the corner to set Wijnaldum through on goal. Typically unselfish play, when there were chances to score. Had a quiet first-half but was a big influence in the second.

Daniel Sturridge 6 - Made little significant contribution considering he could well have been playing for his future.

Subs:

Lucas (for Firmino 80)

Divock Origi (for Sturridge 82)

Alberto Moreno (for Milner 86)
