Liverpool set to make £100m as Klopp steps up plans to axe 11 stars - report

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is set to dump eight more players during the summer to take the number of axed men to 11 as he continues his overhaul of the club, according to a report.
The Mirror claim that after releasing Kolo Toure and Jose Enrique, and receiving £4million in compensation for Jerome Sinclair, the German will continue his refurbishment of the squad before the season begins on 13 August.
The former Borussia Dortmund boss wants a leaner squad as they prepare for the forthcoming Premier League campaign without any European football.
Liverpool have accepted £15 million for academy product Jordan Ibe and striker Christian Benteke is a £30 million transfer target for Crystal Palace, after the club rejected a club record fee of £25million for the Belgian.
Centre-back Martin Skertel is close to agreeing a £5.5 million move to Turkish side Fenerbachce, all of which was reported by Football Insider.

Other deals also include a bid of £2.5million which was accepted for Sergi Canos from Norwich and Besiktas reviving their interest in defensive midfielder Lucas.
It is said Klopp is preparing to offload Mario Balotelli after attracting interest in Serie A and Wales midfielder Joe Allen is being monitored by his old club Swansea and Spanish side Sevilla, who are also keen on Luis Alberto.
The German used 39 players last term in a gruelling campaign which saw the Anfield club reach the finals of the League cup and Europa League.
