Liverpool will have to pay a big-money fee to land Juventus teenager Dean Huijsen this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

Football Insider revealed on Monday (22 July) that the Reds and Aston Villa are both keen on the 19-year-old centre-back.

Huijsen is under a long-term contract with Juventus which runs until June 2028.

However, like most European clubs in this summer window, the Bianconeri are willing to part with the Spain Under-21 international for the right price.

Sources say a bid of around £20-25million could be enough to prise Huijsen away from Turin.

The 6ft 5in star is seen as one for the future by both Liverpool and Villa as they vie to future-proof their defensive ranks.

Juventus want £20-25m fee for Liverpool target Huijsen

He has played just once for Juventus’ senior side but earned his first regular first-team action on loan at Roma in the second half of the 2023-24 campaign.

Huijsen scored twice across five starts in 14 total Serie A appearances for Daniele De Rossi’s side.

It is believed Liverpool will also hunt a more experienced left-sided defender signing this summer as Arne Slot's reign at Anfield gets underway.

Sources say Palace are now demanding £70milllion to let the 24-year-old go.
