Ronald Araujo has flourished since switching from Barcelona for the more chaotic Anfield on a temporary basis.

Liverpool signed the 27-year-old on a season-long loan in the summer, with the deal including an option-to-buy, should he impress.

And even out of position at right-back, Araujo has certainly done that, emerging as one of the Premier League's most consistent in the position.

Ultimately, though, the Barcelona loanee is natuarally a centre-back, and is very likely to partner Jeremy Jacquet at some point during the 2026-27 campaign.
