The Toffees came from behind to beat Aitor Karanka’s Boro side 3-1 at Goodison Park on Saturday evening and lift them to within only two points of leaders Manchester City.

Lukaku, who scored his fourth goal of the season against Boro, praised his team’s performance and Barry’s landmark occasion.

“First of all congrats Gareth on your 600th appearance in the Premier League,” Lukaku wrote on his personal Twitter account. “Happy with the win onto the next game.”
