Romelu Lukaku has had a Twitter dig at Everton for allowing Gerard Deulofeu to leave the club on loan.
The Merseysiders announced on their official Twitter page on Monday that Deulofeu had joined AC Milan on loan for the remainder of the season.
The winger has completed a temporary switch to the San Siro after being demoted to the fringes of the Everton team under Ronald Koeman this season.
But Deulofeu’s Everton teammate Lukaku has made it clear that he is not happy that the Spaniard will not be on hand to supply him with crosses in the second half of the campaign.
The attacking duo forged an outstanding partnership last season that helped the Belgium international plunder 25 goals in 46 matches.

Since Koeman’s arrival at Goodison Park Deulofeu has struggled to break into the first team this season, totalling just four starts and seven appearances off the bench without getting a goal or assist in the Premier League.
By contrast, the young Spaniard was a regular starter last season, when he made 33 appearances in all competitions and racked up a notable 13 assists, nine of which came in 26 league encounters.
Lukaku has continued to plunder goals this season, scoring 13 times in 23 matches, including 12 in 21 Premier League fixtures.
Football Insider Verdict
Lukaku is right. Deulofeu deserved greater opportunity to shine under Koeman. The diminutive Spaniard forged an impressive little ‘n large partnership with the big Belgian last season in what was one of the outstanding crosser-and-finisher double acts in the Premier League. Deulofeu is young, mobile and has the potential to improve. Koeman has acted hastily in binning a player who is far more reliable than the erratic Kevin Mirallas. The sense is that the manager has got rid of the wrong wide man.
