Liverpool outcast Sakho places himself in January shop window with Instagram message

By Amir Mir

Liverpool outcast Mamadou Sakho posted a video on his personal Instagram showing himself keeping fit as he thanked fans for their support.

The 26-year-old has not featured for Jurgen Klopp’s side this season, after the German opted to leave him out of his plans.

Sakho was sent home early during the Reds pre-season tour of the United States in the summer as Klopp cited disciplinary issues.

In September Sakho was criticised by the former Borussia Dortmund boss for lacking match fitness, which led to the Frenchman issuing a 3am rant on Social Media.

Klopp has also stated that Sakho has no future on Merseyside as the Premier League giants aim for an unlikely title push this season.

With growing doubts about his future ahead of January, Sakho appeared to be making a point as he placed himself in the shop window to potential buying clubs with the message on his personal Instagram account:

Sakho, who has been demoted to the under-23s this season scoring one goal in four appearances in Premier League 2, has made 80 appearances for the Reds in all competitions.

This season the Merseyside club find themselves four points off leaders Chelsea in the league table,  but they have won an impressive nine out 14 games this term.

Klopp’s side suffered their second defeat of the campaign when Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth produced a stirring fightback to defeat the Reds 4-3 on home soil.

It meant that the Liverpool defensive line has now conceded 18 goals in 14 league games.

In other Liverpool team news, club legend Robbie Fowler has stated the Reds should not sell this 27-year-old in January.
