Celtic all but clinched their seventh title in a row with a 3-2 win over bitter rivals Rangers, with a win that will feel even better for fans as it was achieved with ten men.
Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers made two changes from the side which beat Morton, with Scott Bain making his Bhoys debut replacing Dorus de Vries, and Dedryck Boyata making his long-awaited return, in for Marvin Compper.
Both teams exchanged goals in a frantic first-half, with the Gers twice taking the lead through Josh Windass and Daniel Candeias, with the Hoops responding thanks to Tom Rogic and Moussa Dembele.
The turning point in the game came in the 57th minute, when Jozo Simuovic was sent-off for elbowing Alfredo Morelos.
This didn’t stop the Hoops from taking the lead though, with Odsonne Edouard curling home what proved to be the winning goal ten minutes later.
The win sees the Bhoys take a nine point lead with a game in hand at the top of the Scottish Premiership table, and it now seems only a matter of time before they make it seven in a row.
