Man United will hold new talks this week over a deal for PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte, sources have told Football Insider.

The 23-year-old is represented by Jorge Mendes, the same agent who completed the Leny Yoro transfer.

The Premier League giants are working on strengthening the squad’s central areas this summer.

United will listen to offers for Scott McTominay and Casemiro, potentially leaving space for Erik ten Hag to bolster his options in midfield.

Football Insider revealed McTominay’s priority is to stay at Old Trafford this season after the club put a £30million price tag on him.

United will sell Casemiro at a “huge” loss this summer, with Football Insider reporting that several Saudi clubs are in regular contact with the Brazilian’s camp.

Ugarte would bring plenty of experience to the Premier League side despite his young age.

With 200 career appearances across various European leagues and competitions, Ugarte is no stranger to playing at the highest level.

He is under contract with PSG until 2028 and did feature 37 times for the French outfit last season.

United are currently undergoing an overhaul as Ten Hag prepares for the new season.
