Man United tipped to seal cut-price Ruben Neves deal after £100m reveal - Robinson
Man United could sign Ruben Neves for far less than the £100million publicly quoted by Wolves.
That is the view of former Spurs and England number one Paul Robinson, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Red Devil’s interest in the 25-year-old.
Neves is a long-term target for Man United, who are in the market for midfield reinforcements this summer.
As quoted by the Daily Mail (28 April), Wolves manager Bruno Lage said Neves is worth “£100million or above.”
The centre-midfielder has just over two years remaining on his contract at Molineux.
When asked for his thoughts on United paying £100m for Neves, Robinson told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs: “There is other issues they need to sort.

“They should not be paying £100million for Neves. There is other positions and players they need to prioritise for me.
“When you look at the £100million paid for [Jack] Grealish and compare him to Neves, I don’t think Neves is in that £100million bracket.
“I think Bruno Lage is trying to scare Manchester United. He clearly doesn’t want to lose Neves. He knows how important he is.
“I think a realistic price would be a lot less than that. If Man United really want him I think a deal could be done for cheaper.”
Neves has been one of Wolves’ standout performers this season.
He has contributed four goals and two assists in 32 appearances across all competitions.
