Man United fans don't see Luke Shaw having a future at the club if they manage to sign Alphonso Davies from Bayern Munich.
According to German reporter Florian Plettenberg, Man United are interested in bringing the 23-year-old to the Premier League but will face stiff competition from Real Madrid.
The left-back is out of contract at the end of the season and there has been no progress in talks with Bayern over a new deal.
Due to his contract situation, Davies would be able to negotiate with foreign clubs from January 1st in preparation for a move in the following summer.
Davies has played 386 Bundesliga minutes so far this season as Vincent Kompany's side sit at the summit of the Bundesliga table.

Shaw, 29, is yet to play a single minute this season after picking up yet another calf injury after England's 2-1 defeat to Spain in the Euro 2024 final.
The left-back missed 41 games across all competitions for Erik ten Hag's side last season and some fans are starting to think he may not be able to make a comeback.
