Man United fans fume at club's 'absolutely disgraceful' new move

Man United supporters have been left feeling furious with the football club for their latest cost-cutting decision.

According to TalkSPORT, club legends Bryan Robson, Andy Cole, and Denis Irwin are all going to have their ambassador salaries reduced from next season.

This is the latest in a series of decisions that have been made by INEOS in a bid to improve United’s financial situation.

United started this process in the summer as 250 long-serving employees were dismissed from their roles, while the club has also hiked ticket prices which have led to protests outside Old Trafford.

The club also decided to withdraw its annual £40,000 payment to The Association of Former Man United Players, which is a charity to help support players who didn’t make enough money in the game when they retire.

These legacy players aren’t the only legends to have been impacted though, as Sir Alex Ferguson’s contract with the club is also being cut from next season in a bid to save more money.

United’s on the field performances have left fans frustrated this season as the club sits 13th in the Premier League table.

However, the cost-cutting measures are not helping the general mood surrounding the club at the moment.

Supporters are starting to become vocal in their displeasure about the situation, admitting that the latest decision is “disgraceful.”
