Man United fans have called for Erik ten Hag to be sacked after Gary Neville slaughtered the team for their “abysmal” performance against Tottenham.

The 20-time champions were defeated 3-0 at Old Trafford after goals from Brennan Johnson, Dejan Kulusevski, and Dominic Solanke.

It marked United’s third defeat of the Premier League campaign, with the club currently sitting 12th after the opening six games.

Neville speaking on Sky Sports in aftermath of Sunday's match, claimed that United’s application towards doing what Erik ten Hag wants them to do was “abysmal” as he questioned if the squad are not buying into what he’s telling them.

Football Insider revealed that alarm bells are ringing around Ten Hag’s future at the club after the defeat to Spurs, as the pressure continues to mount on the 54-year-old.

Despite being handed a new deal over the summer and being financially backed, sources claim that the board could sack Ten Hag before the end of the year if things don’t improve.

Not listening and or not buying into it, it amounts to the same thing really. The question is, can RVN do any better and if Ineos think not, can anyone else? Either way I think ETH will get 2 more games but if we lose at Porto & Villa he is 100% down the road.
