Man United have completed 'the perfect signing' after James deal is done - Agbonlahor
Manchester United will be “buzzing” after they completed the sale of Daniel James to Leeds United, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England forward claimed James was a “perfect signing for Leeds” but he was never up to the standards expected at Man United.
Leeds confirmed on deadline day they had completed the signing of the Wales international, 23, who had penned a five-year deal.
Football Insider reported on 30 August Everton had launched a late hijack of the deal.
However, the Whites were able to beat off their Premier League rivals to complete the reported £25million deal.
Asked whether James will improve Marcelo Bielsa’s side, Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “Watching them against Burnley, definitely.

“They look lost for ideas on that wing, especially Jack Harrison, he looked very poor.
“You look at Harrison and Raphinha and they’ve not got much more so it does make sense to get Daniel James in. He’ll add pace which Leeds like to have on the counter-attack.
“It’s the perfect signing for Leeds and I think it’s the perfect signing for Manchester United. The transfer has not worked, he’s nowhere near good enough for Man United.
“They will have been buzzing when Leeds got in contact because he wouldn’t have played another minute this season with the players they’ve got available now.
“He doesn’t do enough, for me. You’ll see him in games, he’ll get past a player but his final ball is poor, very erratic. He’s just not a Manchester United player, to be honest. Every Manchester United fan would agree.”
In other news, a big Leeds United will not play for the club again.
