Pundit tells Van de Beek 'for God's sake' to grow up after 'weird' Man United dressing room reveals
Donny Van de Beek is a “grown man” and should not be influenced by what his Man United teammates are telling him to do.
So says ex-Premier League goalkeeper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the latest developments at Old Trafford.
It has been widely reported that Van de Beek has hired a new agent, Ali Dursun, to help him force a move away from United.
The Daily Mail wrote on 29 October that the Dutchman’s teammates were key in persuading him to drop previous representative Guido Albers.
The out-of-favour playmaker’s only start in 2021-22 so far came in United’s 1-0 League Cup defeat to West Ham on 21 October.
He has just four Premier League starts to his name since his £35million move from Ajax in September 2020.

Van de Beek is under contract at Old Trafford until 2025.
Kenny admitted he is baffled that the 24-year-old has apparently been so easily led by his peers at United.
“If someone wants him, they aren’t going to pass over him just because of who his agent is,” he told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams.
“You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to see that, for whatever reason, it isn’t working for him at Man United.
“I just find it weird that a professional footballer is being told by his teammates what to do. He’s a grown man, for god’s sake.
“Surely he should be getting his head down and trying to get in the team. Why would his teammates be telling him that?
“What’s it got to do with them? I just find it strange, and I think he should really be concentrating on his football.“
