Ruben Amorim needs to bring unsettled Chelsea star Christopher Nkunku to Man United because he he is "perfect" for Old Trafford, fans are insisting.

The 27-year-old has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge due to limited playing time under Enzo Maresca.

Football Insider revealed in November that the Frenchman could push for a transfer after growing increasingly unhappy with his situation at Chelsea.

With just three Premier League starts this season, speculation has intensified, and United fans have begun to tout the possibility of a potential deal, with on-loan Stamford Bridge winger Jadon Sancho suggested as a makeweight.

According to the Daily Mail the Blues are assessing various January transfer window enquiries for their players, including the former RB Leipzig attacker.

Man United fans want Christopher Nkunku despite poor form at Chelsea

Nkunku’s last Premier League start came in a 2-0 defeat against Ipswich. A rare opportunity in the league that the forward couldn’t capitalise on.

Despite limited chances domestically, Nkunku has shown his quality, scoring an impressive 12 goals and providing four assists this season.

However, the majority of his contributions have come in the UEFA Conference League, with only three goals and assists in 18 Premier League appearances.

The former RB Leipzig star could present a valuable option for Amorim, addressing United's struggles in the forward line with a versatile player capable of performing in multiple positions.

One fan remarked that Nkunku would “suit the system perfectly” while another suggested a “straight swap with [Jadon] Sancho” as an ideal solution.
