Man City: Bernardo Silva snubs Premier League club as Barcelona eye move
Manchester City legend Bernardo Silva has no plans to stay in the Premier League and is on Barcelona's radar ahead of his exit this summer.
Silva announced last week that he is set to leave the Etihad Stadium at the end of this season when his contract expires.
He has won it all in his nine years at City, and feels as if his race will be run in the Premier League after this campaign.
As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Transfer Insider podcast, Silva will not join another English club this summer and instead wants to move to a top club on the continent.
Man City's transfer plans will revolve around bringing in an experienced replacement for the Portugal star, especially with Rodri's future also looking uncertain.
Bernardo Silva is keen on European move as Barcelona plot deal
Silva has been at his energetic best in recent weeks as City have stolen a march on Arsenal in the race for the Premier League title.
The 31-year-old has been linked with a shockswitch to Arsenal ahead of his summer departure, with Barcelona and Juventus also known to be interested.

Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: "Bernardo Silva is ready for a new challenge and that will probably be abroad. Barcelona are very keen on signing him.
"I don't think Silva himself would want to move to another Premier League club once he leaves City."
John Stones also eyeing overseas move despite Everton interest
Stones is also expected to leave City this summer, but has not yet officially announced his departure like long-time teammate Silva.
Injuries have restricted him to just seven league appearances so far this term, but he is now back fit and vying for a place in England's World Cup squad.
Sources have told Football Insider that Stones would also prefer to move abroad this summer, rather than stay in the Premier League.
His former club, Everton, have been closely linked with a move, but the 31-year-old is after a fresh start and open to offers from top five European leagues.
