Sources: AC Milan make move for Jack Grealish after Everton update
AC Milan have registered their interest in signing Man City star Jack Grealish as Everton cool their interest, sources have told Football Insider.
David Moyes is not completely convinced by a permanent move for Grealish and his interest in re-signing him has dissapated ahead of the final week of the transfer window.
Everton have moved to distance themselves from a deal even though his price tag has fallen dramatically in the last few weeks.
Milan will need the fee to be sub-£10million to be able to complete a deal, with new manager Ruben Amorim keen to snap Grealish ahead of the deadline.
Grealish has featured in each of City's competitive games so far this season, with a 14-minute cameo from the bench as they beat Bournemouth 2-1 on Sunday.
It remains to be seen whether he wants to stay at the Etihad to fight for a place under Enzo Maresca or explore a move to Serie A.

Grealish looked to have revived his career on loan at Everton last season as he shone in the first few months of the campaign.
He registered two goals and six assists in his first 22 appearances for the club, while also picking up a Premier League Player of the Month award.
Disaster struck in January as he suffered a serious foot injury that ended his campaign prematurely, but he remained on Merseyside to recover until the loan deal expired in June.
Sources have revealed to Football Insider that Moyes was left unimpressed with Grealish's off-field antics as he sat on the sidelines, with a return to the club now in doubt, as a result.
Milan could swoop to complete a permanent deal if the price is right, with Amorim aiming to bolster his forward line as Rafael Leao looks to depart the San Siro.
What has Maresca said about Grealish's Man City future?
Maresca has utilised Grealish since he recovered from his injury, but has remained coy over what could happen before the summer deadline passes.
The Citizens manager was asked about the 30-year-old's future after their win against Bournemouth, as he replied: "Jack (Grealish), again, until the day he isn't here, it's my duty to try and coach Jack and to try to get the best from him.
"It's one more week to go (until the transfer window closes) and we'll see what happens, not only with Jack, but with more players."
