Manchester United set to sell Rafael da Silva

By Manchester correspondent Alex Stevens
Manchester United have told Rafael da Silva that he can find another club, Football Insider sources understand.

The Brazilian defender is surplus to requirements at Old Trafford and United will listen to offers for him this summer.
Rafael, who joined the club along with his twin brother Fabio in 2008, is about to enter the final 12 months of his contract.
Manager Louis van Gaal has told the right-back he can move after relegating him to a peripheral role during his season in charge.
Rafael has started just seven matches in 2014-15 and has not figured at all for the first team since February.
Injuries have reduced his availability for selection but Van Gaal has made it clear that he prefers Paddy McNair, who he has claimed could be “the United right-back for the next 10 years”, and even midfielder Antonio Valencia in the position where Rafael was the first choice under Sir Alex Ferguson.
