Amad Diallo has no desire to leave Man United this summer amid interest from other clubs in his services, sources have told Football Insider.

The Ivory Coast international has attracted attention after struggling to nail down a place in United's starting eleven last season.

Recent reports have stated that United have already received approaches for his services from numerous interested clubs this summer.

Michael Carrick is keen to keep hold of Diallo as the Red Devils prepare to return to the Champions League next season.

As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider's Transfer Insider podcast, the 23-year-old is keen to stay and fight for his place on the right wing under Carrick in pre-season.

United are believed to be keen on signing a new left-winger this summer, leaving Diallo to battle it out with Bryan Mbeumo on the opposite flank.

Amad Diallo set to fight for his place at United despite transfer rumours

Diallo continued to impress last season but did only register two goals and three assists in 33 games for the Red Devils.

He scored two fine World Cup goals for Ivory Coast to attract further attention from other clubs, but will not be leaving Old Trafford this summer.

Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: "Michael Carrick is going to need as many players as possible, with United facing more games next season as they return to the Champions League.

"I'm sure Diallo will be keen to go and have a good pre-season and become a regular in that United side in his preferred position as a wide right player in that respect as well.

"United have no plans to sell him, and I'm sure they would reject an approach if there was one for the skilful attacker."

Man United: Joshua Zirkzee likely to make Serie A switch as 'good' fee to be tabled

Joshua Zirkzee to seal United exit after tough season

While Diallo looks set to stay, Dutch striker Zirkzee is approaching the exit door amid some struggles at Old Trafford.

He has failed to consistently impress since joining United, with two goals in 26 appearances across all competitions last season.

Sources have exclusively revealed to Football Insider that Zirkzee is likely set to move back to Italy with a Serie A return on the cards.

He previously impressed in the division with Bologna, and a move to Roma has been mooted in the last few months.
