Michael Carrick must drop Benjamin Sesko for Manchester United's derby against Manchester City on Sunday despite the striker scoring two goals in his last two matches.
The 23-year-old worked his way back into the starting XI for the 4-0 victory over Sabah FK on Thursday, with the attack once again finding the net.
This came after he scored a late goal from the bench against Everton last weekend in a 2-2 draw at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
However, in his last appearance against City, Sesko was awful, with their defence giving him no room to work his magic.
Therefore, Carrick should look to drop the striker and prevent this from recurring in the derby.
The manager has already masterminded a victory against City since coming to the club, with Sesko not getting a minute of action in that game, and now this should be repeated.

Sesko was awful in his last appearance against Man City.
According to Fotmob on 12 September, the striker had one shot, which was on target, completed 54 per cent of his passes, had a 0.03 xG, was dispossessed once, lost all of his ground duels and only won three out of eight aerial duels.
As a result, he was brought off after 80 minutes and was arguably United’s worst player in the 3-0 defeat.
Therefore, Carrick should look to avoid this happening again and drop Sesko for the derby.
Bryan Mbeumo was excellent when he led the line against Man City in the last derby and scored the opener in the 2-0 win.
Therefore, United should look to repeat this trick on Sunday as it clearly works against their rivals.

After winning only one of his opening three Premier League matches, Carrick is already facing the critics.
The defeat to Hull City was an embarrassment, and a late draw to Everton was no doubt a blow.
However, if he is able to mastermind a victory in the Manchester derby, any doubters would disappear.
City are arguably the favourites after they have won all three of their matches in the Premier League this season.
