Marcus Rashford told to 'suck it up' after Man United footage emerges - pundit
Kevin Campbell has applauded Man United forward Marcus Rashford for training in the off-season to best prepare himself for the 2022-23 campaign.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Arsenal and Everton striker said the 24-year-old has to “suck it up and get his work done” after a “very disappointing” time last season.
Rashford struggled for game time in the 2021-22 campaign.
On his personal Instagram (18 June), the England international posted a video doing sprints as he steps up his training ahead of the 2022-23 campaign.
Man United head out on their pre-season tour next month before their first Premier League fixture against Brighton on 7 August.
When asked if he expected a big improvement from Rashford next season, Campbell told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs: “The way Rashford’s season went, it was very disappointing.

“To be left out of the team time after time was harsh.
“As any good pro does, you suck it up and get your work done. You come back stronger the following season.
“By all intent and purposes, that is what he is looking to do. He wants to be fitter and stronger physically next season.
“He has a new manager to impress so it is the right thing to do. That is for sure.”
Rashford contributed five goals and two assists in 32 appearances across all competitions last season.
His contract at Old Trafford runs until the end of June 2023.
