Mark Lawrenson predicts Tottenham v Millwall, states what is special
By Amir Mir
Mark Lawrenson has backed Tottenham to beat Millwall 2-0 in their FA Cup quarter-final clash on Sunday afternoon at White Hart Lane.
BBC Sports pundit Lawrenson believes the partnership between Harry Kane and Dele Alli is “special” with the duo producing top-notch performances of late.
Striker Kane has especially been causing problems to opposition defences with the England international finding the back of the net on eight occasions in his last four matches.
He scored a brace against Europa League hopefuls Everton at the weekend and he could be selected to start the cup encounter on Sunday.
Nonetheless, former Liverpool defender Lawrenson hailed the League One side but backed Spurs to overcome their challenge.

“I think this is where the Lions’ run ends, though,” Lawrenson told BBC Sport.
“Spurs striker Harry Kane cannot stop scoring and his partnership with Dele Alli looks very special. Tottenham will just be too strong for them.”
It will be a difficult task for Neil Harris’ side to beat their London counterparts in this match, in particular away from home.
Spurs, who are in their final season at White Hart Lane before they move to new surroundings, are yet to beaten on home soil this term.
Their most impressive win of the campaign came against current Premier League leaders Chelsea when they inflicted a 2-0 defeat on Antonio Conte’s side.
Other teams still in the FA Cup are non-league outfit Lincoln who beat Premier League side Burnley in the last round.
Their reward is an away trip to the Emirates where they will take on Arsenal who were recently beaten 5-1 by German giants Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
In other Tottenham news, this 27-year-old could be snubbed by Mauricio Pochettino for their clash against Millwall.
