Odds slashed: 45-year-old installed new favourite to be Rangers manager

Derek McInnes has been installed as the new favourite to be manager of Rangers, according to the latest bookmakers' odds.
Sky Bet priced former Gers midfielder McInnes, 45, at 8/13 on Sunday morning to take over from Mark Warburton, who quit the club in bizarre circumstances on Friday night.
The odds have been slashed on the Aberdeen manager being appointed at Rangers following a wave of betting in the last 24 hours.
Former Ibrox boss Alex McLeish was installed the early favourite in the immediate wake of Warburton's exit but his price has drifted to 2/1.
Ex-Nottingham Forest and Derby manager Billy Davies, another man with strong Rangers connections, was 2/1 on Saturday but is now 10/1 in the betting and a relatively distant third favourite.
McInnes has been the manager of Aberdeen for the last four years after succeeding Craig Brown in March 2013.
The former journeyman midfielder cut his managerial teeth at St Johnstone before a difficult 15-month spell at Bristol City that ended with the sack.
Rangers announced on Friday night that Warburton's tenure had come to an end after his resignation had been accepted by the club's board.
Warburton leaves Rangers with the club third in the Scottish Premiership but they are currently in the shadow of bitter rivals Celtic, who are romping off with the title after opening up a monumental 27-point gap at the top.
McInnes, who is contracted to Aberdeen until the summer of 2019, has steered the club to second in this season's league, ahead of the Gers on goal difference.
