Arsenal midfielder Charlie Gilmour has dropped a big hint that he could be moving to Rangers in the summer.

New manager Steven Gerrard hasn't officially taken over the reigns yet – he starts at Ibrox on June 1 – but he's already been working with Director of Football Mark Allen to bring in new recruits.

Scott Arfield and Allan McGregor have already been added and lots of names have been linked, including Ben Woodburn, Harry Wilson, Ryan Kent and Dominic Solanke from Liverpool.

Former Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel was also strongly linked with an Ibrox move, only for it to fall down over the size of the fee and the wages the player was demanding.

But Liverpool aren't the only Premier League team that Gerrard has been scouring for new recruits.

Football Whispers claims that Eddie Nketiah is the next most likely player to sign for Rangers and now another youngster, Charlie Gilmour, has got tongues wagging after posting a tweet on Thursday.

In the tweet, he says 'Can't wait #LetsGo', below a picture of Gerrard in the Rangers dressing room.

Does this signify a move or just a huge come and get me plea from the 19-year-old?

Gilmour, who's come up the youth ranks at Arsenal, has been capped five times for Scotland's Under-19s side.
