Aston Villa fans have slammed Albert Adomah for his performance against Norwich in the 3-1 defeat at Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon.

Adomah, 30, has arguably been one of Villa's best players this term but he has gone off the boil in recent weeks, and that was apparent again against the Canaries this weekend.

Many supporters believed that the former Middlesbrough attacker was looking out of sorts at Carrow Road after a slow-paced first-half.

One fan claimed that the 30-year-old should not even play again for the West Midlands club this season after being left seething with his display against Norwich.

Here is a selection of their tweets:

Adomah has been in brilliant form this campaign for Aston Villa and even earned himself a spot in the Championship team of the season.

However it seems that he was nowhere near to replicating that form against Norwich, with fans even wanting him dropped for future games.

He has made 36 appearances in all competitions for Steve Bruce's side this term, scoring 15 goals and supplying seven assists in the process.

It seems that it may be tough for Adomah to build on that in the closing weeks of the campaign, but with play-offs on the horizon, he will surely have to get back to his best to help the Villains gain promotion.
