Aston Villa fans took to Twitter to lay into Conor Hourihane for his performance in their 2-0 Championship defeat to Fulham on Saturday afternoon. Goals from man-of-the-moment Ryan Sessegnon and Floyd Ayite secured the three points for the Londoners in the battle of the in-form sides at Craven Cottage. The win for Fulham was their seventh in succession in the league and ended Villa's own golden sequence of seven consecutive Championship victories. Hourihane, 27, played the full 90 minutes of the Rivers Thames encounter in a midfield three with Mile Jedinak and El Mohamady Abdel Fattah, both of whom were substituted. But supporters of the Midlands giants took to social media to express their dissatisfaction with the Republic of Ireland international's performance.
