Bernardo Silva is expected to tell Man City he wants to leave this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

Silva, 29, has come close to leaving the club in each of the last two summers, with PSG and Barcelona pushing hard to prise him from Etihad Stadium.

A move in the upcoming window is considered more likely as the attacking midfielder seeks a new challenge.

Man City will demand £50million for his signature, with Pep Guardiola needing to replace him with a player of similar attributes.

Bernardo Silva expected to push for Man City exit

Silva moved to the Etihad in a £43million deal from Monaco in 2017, and has gone on to make 255 appearances for the club, scoring 66 goals and providing 66 assists.

He has been an integral member of a squad which won six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four League Cups, one Champions League and one Club World Cup.

Silva made 49 appearances, scoring 11 goals and providing 10 assists as City lifted yet another Premier League title last season.

However, the Portuguese now believes he has achieved all he can in England and is keen on making the move abroad.

PSG boss Luis Henrique is said to be a "big fan" of SIlva's, while Barcelona's interest has been long-term, although there are concerns about their financial situation.
