Rangers have been installed as clear favourites to sign Nottingham Forest centre-forward Jason Cummings during the January transfer window, according to the latest bookmakers' odds.
BetVictor have made the Light Blues 3/1 favourites to sign Cummings, 22, before the end of the month after the Sunday Post reported that the Glasgow club are keen on offering the ex-Hibernian striker a chance to move back to Scotland.
English Championship sides Barnsley, Sheffield Wednesday and Norwich (all 6/1) are also seen to be in the running to seal a swoop for the clinical finisher in the January transfer window.

Cummings left Easter Road to sign for Mark Warburton's Forest for £1million in the summer, but the one-time Scotland international had found it tough to adjust in England.
He won the Scottish Championship title with Neil Lennon's Hibernian last season, scoring a stunning 23 goals in 40 appearances across all competitions.
However with Forest, he has just four goals in 17 total matches, with just one coming in the league.
The Sun has reported that Cummings is scheduled to hold talks with Aitor Karanka after he replaced Warburton as manager at the City Ground earlier this month.
It is understood that he could be holding back on a move to Ibrox to try and sort out what the future lies for him with Nottingham Forest now there has been a change in management.
In other Rangers news, the Gers are on the verge of signing this defensive warrior, but it may see a senior player quit Ibrox.
