McGhee gives his verdict on Rangers, claims glamour tie will not disrupt plans

Motherwell manager Mark McGhee says his side are not worried that Rangers will disrupt their pre-season plans, ahead of their meeting on Saturday.
Rangers head to Fir Park for their League Cup opener on the weekend, with the Cup now formatted with group stages.
In an interview with the official Motherwell website, McGhee said they will take the tie seriously but are not changing their pre-season plans.
"It's just another week of pre-season. We cannot change our focus because it's Rangers," said McGhee.
"It's a League Cup game which we take very seriously, but we will have another week's pre-season training and we won't miss a beat.
"We already planned it and we intend to do the same regardless of whether it's Rangers or another pre-season (friendly)."
Rangers have a big season ahead of them after they clinched the Scottish Championship title last season and sealed a return to the Premiership after a four year absence.
Preparations have already begun and manager Mark Warburton has been quick to bolster his squad for the upcoming season, with the likes of Joey Barton, Niko Kranjcar and Jordan Rossiter signing.
With these additions Warburton will be hoping they can challenge Old Firm rivals Celtic for the title next season.
