Bryan Mbeumo and William Saliba respond to Jean-Clair Todibo away from West Ham
Jean-Clair Todibo caught the attention of Arsenal and Liverpool stars on social media following a difficult first season at West Ham.
The 25-year-old Frenchman joined the Hammers on a season-long loan from Nice, with an obligation-to-buy clause added to the contract in a deal worth £34.2million [BBC Sport].
With experience across spells with Barcelona, Benfica, and Nice, including Champions League and Europa Conference League football, supporters were extremely excited for the defender to join.
However, the Irons seriously struggled during the 2024/25 season, and while the entire squad failed to perform at the highest level, many fans are unsure about the deal for Todibo.
It emerged during the winter transfer window that Todibo was pushing for a West Ham exit, and after 29 appearances, fans are still none the wiser about what the centre-back's future holds in East London.

Taking to Instagram (3 July), Todibo shared an update away from the London Stadium, captioned: "L.A. pt.2," gaining likes from teammates Edson Alvarez, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Dinos Mavropanos.
The post also gained the attention of Liverpool's Ibrahima Konate, Arsenal's William Saliba, and Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo, who is closing in on a move to Man United, Mick Brown told Football Insider.

Stefan Borson told Football Insider that West Ham will be aiming to rebuild the squad to avoid a similar situation to Leicester City's relegation campaign last term.
Multiple of the current players have failed to impress during Graham Potter's very short spell at the London Stadium, and the former Brighton and Chelsea figure could look to move many of them on.
Of course, the likes of Jarrod Bowen, Max Kilman, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are untouchable, but if the Hammers are to be more successful next season, they need much more talent within the squad.
Football Insider understood last month that West Ham could swoop for Hamza Igamane, though it appears that a switch to Ligue 1 this summer is far more likely.
Tomas Soucek, Lucas Paqueta, and Mohammed Kudus have all been linked with exits, and the latter two's transfers could certainly help fund a rebuild over the coming weeks.
It remains to be seen whether David Sullivan and Karren Brady will open their pockets for a second summer running, but if Potter is to be given a fair shot, he needs support in the transfer market.
