Celtic are on the verge on agreeing to loan defender Mark Hill to Kilmarnock, according to a report.

The

claim the former Hamilton player

is set for a temporary spell at Rugby Park in order to gain crucial first-team experience.

It is said that Celtic are set to give the green light for Hill to make the same move as that made by Kristoffer Ajer, who spent the second half of last season at Kilmarnock before returning to Parkhead.

Now Hill, 19, could be about to follow the same path.

He joined the Hoops five years ago after appearing for Accies in a second string game aged just 13.

Hill penned a new three-year deal in May and started the friendly with Lyon last month.
