Celtic are not interested in Swansea attacker Jordan Ayew, according to a report.

The Daily Record, on their transfer blog (11.25am), have dismissed an earlier report that quoted director of football at Berekum Chelsea, Nana Oduro Sarfo.

In a report on the same Daily Record transfer blog (10.19am), he said that Celtic had a 'serious interest' in the attacker, who signed from Aston Villa for just over £5million in January 2017.

However, the Daily Record has since run its checks and claimed that there is no truth to the rumour.

They say that while Ayew is expected to leave the Liberty Stadium this summer, Celtic have absolutely no interest in the player.

They remain committed to signing on-loan PSG striker Odsonne Edouard on a permanent deal.

Edouard has impressed last season after a loan spell and Rodgers now wants to make his move to Parkhead a permanent one.
