Chelsea fans have demanded that Noni Madueke is “permanently dropped” by Enzo Maresca after his performance against Leicester City on Saturday (23 November).

The Blues picked up three points at the King Power Stadium after a 2-1 win courtesy of goals from Nicolas Jackson and Enzo Fernandez, but Chelsea had the chance to score more.

Cole Palmer was set for a tap-in during the second half with no goalkeeper in his way only for his shot to be blocked by Madueke on the line, much to the frustration of the supporters.

The 22-year-old missed one big chance himself in the first half when he put the ball wide of the goal, while he only managed 43 attacking touches all game.

The right winger was also only successful with 33 percent of his dribbles while none of his crosses were accurate.

The England international played 85 minutes before being replaced by Jadon Sancho, and the substitute bench is where fans want to see him moving forward.

Madueke has scored four goals in the Premier League this season, but supporters have claimed it is criminal for him to be starting over the other wingers at the club such as Sancho and Pedro Neto.
