Chelsea are not open to offers for attacker Christopher Nkunku amid speculation about a potential Paris Saint-Germain swoop, sources have told Football Insider.

The 26-year-old has long-term admirers in the French capital, where he started his professional career before moving to Leipzig.

Nkunku, speaking to Telefoot, was forced to rubbish speculation about a PSG switch over the international break.

He said: "PSG remains a big club, but there has not been one approach."

Sources say clubs are monitoring his situation at Chelsea after a stuttering start to life at Stamford Bridge.

However, it is believed Chelsea are not open to offers and Enzo Maresca views him as a key part of his plans going forward.

Chelsea not open to Nkunku exit

Blues chiefs and the Italian feel there will be plenty of opportunities to get Nkunku back firing after a huge injury layoff in the 2023-24 campaign.

He has already hit seven goals in 11 appearances this season so far but is yet to make a big splash in the Premier League.

Nkunku has started just once in the top flight with Nicolas Jackson in form and preferred to the France international.

The 26-year-old has new competition in his role from new signings such as Joao Felix and Pedro Neto.
