Evanilson responds to new Bournemouth announcement after Man United controversy
Evanilson was at the centre of controversy in Bournemouth's 1-1 draw with Manchester United last weekend.
Andoni Iraola's side were frustratingly denied all three points at the Vitality Stadium thanks to Rasmus Hojlund's injury-time equaliser, which cancelled out Antoine Semenyo's well-taken strike in the first half.
Sunday's match turned on referee Peter Bankes and VAR John Brooks' decision to show Evanilson a red card early in the second half; a decision which Keith Hackett told Football Insider was "unbelievable".
Evanilson's dismissal led to Bournemouth being penned deep in their own half for the remainder of the match, and Man United's pressure eventually told in the sixth minute of stoppage time via Hojlund's goal.
Evanilson shares Bournemouth relief after red card decision
A much-needed Bournemouth victory was snatched away from them right at the death by Hojlund, and that extends a run which ha sseen Iraola's side pick up just one win from their last 10 league matches.
Ruben Amorim's side were lucky to come away with a draw, and luckier still to keep 11 players on the pitch after Hackett also slammed Brooks' decision to let Casemiro off with a "reckless" challenge.

However, the Cherries have been given a boost ahead of their next match at Arsenal, with Evanilson's red card rescinded by the PGMOL; and the reversal of his ban was reported by Bournemouth on Instagram.
Evanilson's team-mates Illya Zabarnyi, Milos Kerkez and Justin Kluivert all liked Bournemouth's post to announce the decision, and the Brazilian also shared the Cherries' post on his own Instagram story.
Bournemouth braced for crucial end-of-season period
Iraola's side sat a lofty fifth in the Premier League table prior to the dismal 10-game run they're currently on, and with just four games left to play, Bournemouth are now outsiders to secure European football.
The Cherries' chances of being continental competitors next season could affect their attempts to sign the likes of Kepa Arrizabalaga permanently, as European clubs circle the in-form Spanish shot-stopper.
Semenyo, Kerkez and Dean Huijsen are also expected to attract interested clubs in their droves this summer, but with Evanilson's ban overturned, Bournemouth may still be able to secure the European spot which allows them to keep their best players.
