Everton will register their interest in signing Hal Robson-Kanu, according to a report.

The 27-year-old free agent wrote himself into Wales folklore with a sensational goal to put his team 2-1 ahead in their momentous 3-1 quarter-final win over Belgium on Friday night.

The Sun claim the Merseysiders are keeping close tabs on Robson-Kanu, who has attracted interest from four Premier League outfits as well as Celtic and clubs from China and the UAE.

It is said that new manager Ronald Koeman has shortlisted the versatile forward and that talks will take place once his Euro 2016 commitments are over.

Everton are interested in Robson-Kanu even though Koeman has a £100million transfer kitty this summer, more than any Goodison manager in history.

The London-born player, who is primarily a left-winger but can also lead the front line, let his contract run down at Championship side Reading at the end of June and his preference is a move to the top-flight of English football.

The pacy attacker has scored two goals for Wales during the European Championships and has an overall record of three goals in 33 appearances for his country.

Robson-Kanu starred for the Royals in 35 encounters across all competitions in the recently completed season scoring five goals and providing seven assists.

Leeds signed Swedish striker Marcus Antonsson in a £2million deal earlier in the week but they still need more firepower ahead of the Championship campaign.

In other Everton news, the club are interested in a sensational £17million move for a Premier League goalkeeper.
