Exclusive: Fulham plot raid to sign Huddersfield Town 25-yr-old
Fulham are readying a move to sign Huddersfield Town defender Terence Kongolo this month, Football Insider understands.
The Terriers are willing to let the centre-back leave during this month's transfer window as he does not figure in Danny Cowley's plans, with rival clubs made aware of his availability.
A source at Fulham has told Football Insider that the Cottagers are looking to pounce on the 25-year-old Dutch international in a bid to strengthen their defensive options heading into the second half of the season.
He made 32 Premier League appearances last season, standing out as one of the club's shining lights despite their relegation back to the Championship.
However, he has struggled for game time since dropping down a division, with just 11 games under his belt in the second tier, and has not played since a 5-2 defeat to Bristol City in November.
Fulham boss Scott Parker is keen to improve his side's defensive options and he sees the Huddersfield man as someone who will add quality at the back as they look to try and win promotion back to the Premier League.
