Leicester City, Southampton, Leeds United and Burnley are chasing Cardiff City winger Ollie Tanner, sources have told Football Insider.

Tanner, 22, has impressed for Cardiff this season with two goals and three assists in 15 starts for the Bluebirds this season.

His form and versatility has brought him onto the radar of Premier League pair Leicester and Southampton, as well as Championship rivals Leeds and Burnley.

The quartet are lining up potential deals, but Cardiff are reluctant to lose Tanner with the powerful winger highly-regarded within the corridors of power of the Welsh club.

He has made 25 appearances across all competitions for the Bluebirds this term.

The 22-year-old also played regularly for Cardiff in the 2023-24 campaign, racking up 40 appearances across all competitions.

Tanner joined the Championship side from Lewes in 2022 and went out on loan to York City six months later.

He is under contract at the Cardiff City Stadium until June 2027 after signing his last extension in the Welsh capital in October 2023.

Leeds

Leicester and Southampton sit 19th and 20th respectively in the English top flight, while Leeds and Burnley are in the race for promotion from the Championship.

Cardiff sit 20th in the second tier under Omer Riza, who succeeded Erol Bulut in the dugout last month.
