Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea are keeping tabs on Bundesliga sensation Said El Mala, sources have told Football Insider.

FC Koln winger El Mala has been a breakout star this season with four goals and two assists in nine Bundesliga appearances.

The skilful attacker’s performances have brought him onto the radar of Europe’s top clubs, with Premier League trio Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea big admirers of the 19-year-old.

El Mala is a German international at under-21 level and has been tipped for big things in the future by coaches at Koln.

Said El Mala tied down to long-term contract

El Mala came through the Borussia Monchengladbach academy before spells at TSV Meerbusch and Viktoria Koln.

In June 2024, the German winger completed a move from Viktoria Koln to FC Koln, but remained with the 3. Liga side on loan for the 2024-25 campaign.

Last summer, El Mala signed a new long-term deal with FC Koln, which runs until 2030, and has so far proved his worth during his first season with the Bundesliga side.

Despite the recent contract extension, with the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, and Man United sniffing around Koln may struggle to keep hold of their exciting young talent.

That is according to former Man United and Blackburn chief scout Mick Brown, who claims that the Reds are keen to extend the 31-year-old’s stay beyond the end of the season.

Football Insider revealed on 28 October that Liverpool have not yet agreed terms with Robertson, but remain hopeful of agreeing a new deal.

After the signing of Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth over the summer, the Scot spent a spell on the sidelines, but he has now started both of the last two games.
