Crystal Palace, Rangers and Norwich City are among a host of clubs tracking Birmingham City winger Zaid Betteka, sources have told Football Insider.

Betteka, 18, is yet to put pen to paper on a professional deal at Birmingham - which has alerted interested clubs to his potential availability.

The left-sided winger has come through the ranks at St Andrew's and make his first-team debut in the FA Cup third round win over Lincoln City last month.

Losing the teenager will be a major blow for the Blues, who hold him in high regard within the corridors of power at the League One club.

Norwich City race Rangers & Crystal Palace for Birmingham sensation

The right-footed left winger is being tracked by Crystal Palace, Rangers and Norwich - among others - as his development continues at Birmingham.

He is a regular for the Blues' Under-21 side despite only turning 18 earlier this month.

Rangers

At the senior level, Birmingham are chasing promotion back to the Championship and sit four points clear of second-place Wycombe Wanderers with two games in hand on the Chairboys.

Chris Davies' side are next in action against Cambridge United on Tuesday (11 February) after losing in the FA Cup against Newcastle last time out.

Clement sack update from Rangers

Meanwhile at Rangers, manager Philippe Clement is once again under immense sack pressure after a historic low for the Glasgow giants.

Football Insider revealed on Monday (10 February) that Clement is now once again fighting for his job at Ibrox after the Scottish Cup loss against Queen's Park.

The Gers sit 13 points adrift of Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
