Felix Wiedwald looks set to leave Elland Road and return to former club Eintracht Frankfurt, according to Bild, and fans are relieved to see him go.

The German outlet claims that Leeds are set to rip up his contract and let him leave for free, after a disastrous season at Elland Road.

After signing for almost £500,000 from Werder Bremen, Wiedwald was made the Leeds number one, with former keeper Rob Green being sold.

However, it didn't work out for Wiedwald and he was dropped for veteran stopper Andy Lonergan, before reclaiming his place after mistakes from Lonergan.

He didn't grasp his second chance either though and he was dropped again for young keeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

That signalled the end of his Elland Road career and fans will be glad to see him go, with one saying it was a shocking decision to get rid of Green.
