Leeds Under-23 side beat Bristol City 4-0 on Monday night and left-back Tyler Denton won all the plaudits after grabbing a late brace.

An own goal from Bristol City and a strike from Sam Dalby had given Leeds a deserved 2-0 lead, before Denton finished off two assists from Madger Gomes.

One fan said that Denton deserved his own run-out in the first team before the end of the season – and with nothing to play for, manager Paul Heckingbottom might well give him a tryout.

Another said that despite some shocking signings for the first team, Victor Orta had brought some amazing youngsters through into the Under-23s.
