Wales were beaten 1-0 by Uruguay in the final of the China Cup on Monday but fans were hugely impressed with the contribution of Liverpool attacker Harry Wilson.

The 21-year-old winger moved on loan to Hull in January for the rest of the season after struggling to make an impact at Anfield.

And now Liverpool fans want to see him given a chance after seeing what he's capable of.

Wales lost the game to an Edinson Cavani goal in the second half, but fans are optimistic about the future of Wales under Giggs – and Wilson could play a pivotal part in his side's future

The youngster had only made a very brief cameo appearance in 2013 before Giggs took over and introduced him to the national side.

He played 70 minutes in the 6-0 demolition of China last week and put in another solid shift today – eventually being replaced by Lee Evans in the 72nd minute.

Fans were blown away by his set piece delivery, with one fan calling his left foot a "thing of beauty" and another saying the Wales squad should just practise his set pieces for three straight days the next time they meet up.

Here are the best reactions from fans to the performance of Harry Wilson:
