Benik Afobe has said that he is dreaming about playing for Wolves in the Premier League one day - but Nuno Espirito Santo must forget about the Bournemouth loanee and attempt to re-sign Andre Gray in the summer.

It would make perfect sense for the Championship leaders to go after the 26-year-old Watford centre-forward.

He cannot seem to get a decent run of games in the Premier League and may well be available in the summer.

The Wolverhampton-born striker also has a better goalscoring record that Afobe in England's top-flight with 13 goals in 58 games with Burnley and Watford.

In comparison Afobe, who wants to sign for Wolves permanently, has just 10 in 63.

What is perhaps most interesting about Gray is that he is a client of super-agent Jorge Mendes, who works closely with Wolves' owners Fosun.

There's every chance that the ex-Luton and Burnley striker will want to re-sign for his home-town club after being released by them at the age of 13 and that kind of dedication is perhaps something that Mendes will not be able to find his other clients who have been moved to Molineux over the past couple of years.

Nuno is facing an exciting summer at Molineux but he absolutely must go out and sign Gray ahead of Afobe.
