Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas is being touted as Paul Pogba's replacement at Juventus, according to Tuttosport.

The Italian sports newspaper has splashed the former Arsenal captain on their front page of their Friday edition as manager Massimiliano Allegri seeks to bolster his midfield following the hole left by Pogba.

According to the report, new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is willing to let go of the 29-year-old Spaniard and would be willing to listen to offers from Juventus.

The report indicates that Juventus were also interested in Conte's main holding midfielder Nemanja Matic, but the Italian has refused to cash in on the Serbia international.

Juventus have already brought in Miralem Pjanic from Serie A title rivals Roma this summer, but are still looking to add one or two quality additions in the middle of the park.

Fabregas has spent the last two years at Chelsea after a £30million move from Barcelona and was a key figure in the team's title success in 2014-15.

Before his second spell at boyhood club Barca, the 29-year-old spent eight seasons at Arsenal and captained the team for three years.

The playmaker is under contract at Chelsea until the summer of 2019 and is valued at an estimated £30million.

In other Arsenal transfer news, the Gunners have another bid for their primary defensive target rejected.
