Garry Monk makes huge admission about Leeds January transfer plans

Garry Monk has revealed that Leeds are "definitely" in the market for a new striker in the January transfer window.
The Elland Road manager made the huge admission in the wake of the club's memorable 2-0 win over Reading on Tuesday night.
Goals from attacking pair Chris Wood and Souleymane Doukara propelled Leeds to a win that lifts them to fifth in the Championship table.
But victory came at a cost as leading scorer Wood suffered a hamstring injury 33 minutes into the match and he was substituted for returning skipper Liam Bridcutt.
The New Zealand international had scored his 11th goal of the league campaign, and his 14th in all competitions, to break the deadlock at Elland.
His withdrawal is a scare for the club and their supporters, and Monk revealed afterwards that he wants to sign a new striker in January.
"Striker's one area we're looking at, definitely," said the manager, as quoted by the personal Twitter account of Yorkshire Evening Post correspondent Phil Hay.
Leeds' current senior strikers are Wood, Doukara and Marcus Antonsson, who missed the Reading match due to a back injury.
An injury to Wood leaves the club extremely bare in the attacking department and increased the pressure on Elland Road chiefs to sign a proven scorer next month to keep their play-off hopes alive.
