Insider: West Ham hold second round of talks with PL-winner, he wants move to England
West Ham have held more talks with former Man City Premier League-winning manager Manuel Pellegrini, according to an Insider.
ExWHUemployee, a solid source of West Ham news, made the claim on their Twitter page on Friday lunchtime.
They reported that the club held talks with him in January and again recently, although the problem is that he is in China on a lucrative contract.
However, they add that he wants to return to England to manage.
This followed on from a fan asking if there was any truth that the manager was in "advanced talks" with the club.

David Moyes isn't popular with West Ham fans and the toxic environment would be helped by a new manager, and one with the pedigree of Pelligrini would be ideal. There was always the feeling that he was pretty shabbily treated by Man City after leading them to the Premier League, although they've now got Pep Guardiola and ran away with the title this year, so that worked out okay. Pellegrini is on bags of money in China but he would love the challenge of the Premier League again and he's not going to get offered a job at a club any bigger than West Ham. This might come down to cash in the end, but it seems West Ham are serious in their pursuit. He's got experience, is well respected in the game and knows the Premier League inside out. Plus he would love to put a spanner in the Man City works, which would seem to make him the ideal fit.
